Warning to Richmond Hill and Markham garages

I found out from a garage in the Leslie and Hwy 7 area that they were visited by men who claimed to be York Regional Police. What is highly unusual in this case is that the men made the MMs read out loud their bank account numbers, they photographed the MMs bank account numbers and they also demanded to know how much money the garage makes each day. This happened this past week. The MMs don't know if they were real officers or not. Demanding to see the girls' bank account numbers and asking how much money they make is highly unusual for any police to do. The MMs don't know any better and have no idea how to tell if the men were real police officers or not. Some of us suspect that the men were fakes and that Chinese garages in York Region are being targeted for robbery in the future.
