how many people believe mm's stories of their past?

I'm pretty new to this hobby so just want to hear some experiences from the elders here. It seems like almost all the mms i met no matter korean or chinese have some sad story of why they have to become a mm. Maybe reason is because i like to talk to people and get to know them so i will always chat with the mms when i meet them. None of them have told me they become mm because they love to shop and spend too much, or because they gamble and lose all their money. The stories are always quite sad and for noble reason. Here's some that i heard. for 孝道 > their family have emergency, sometimes is medical, sometimes is financial, but they need to earn money for their family for 孝道 > they need money for tuition but as a good and responsible daughter don't want to give their family financial burden for 家人 > their younger brother or sister need to attend university and she need to help pay for it for 義氣 > their best friend need to borrow money due to emergency for 愛情 / victimized > their bf / fiance stole or borrowed all their savings and then disappeared or dumped them At first i believed because some of the mms look very real when they say it. But after heard the same thing, or slight variations, from one mm after another i find it very annoying. Even sometimes they sound very convincing but now i think its just acting skills. After all one of the talents of women is to 扮可憐. What do you guys think?
