When is the best time to go?

I'm new to this, and dont know if this is common to everybody. I always wonder when is the best time to visit. Personally, I prefer to go at last minute, but my some of my friends suggest me go first (noon), which assume that girls just get started and serve better than anyother time. So base on everyone's experience, when is the best time to go?
